?Photismos? Projection Panels Introduce 22nd Century Goddesses?

Xtreme Cyber Mania from Starr Group, Ltd. introduces a vertical offering of 40" diagonal to customized 150" diagonal front and rear projection units complete with complementary projector and customized cooling systems to extend the life of the bulbs.
These packages units are plug and play compatible; simply attach a console game box or hot-rod PC and enjoy the ultimate Cyber game experience.Existing display devices including TVs, CRTs and Plasmas provide a less than fulfilling experience due to burn in and ghosting of images when games are placed in pause mode. The Photismos? Projection Unit 22nd Century goddesses project the original source input device directly to the screen without distortion. Simply configure the HDTV setting (480p, 720p, 1080i) on the game console and that signal is directly passed through to the acrylic projection panel.Of particular note is the goddess Voluptas comprising the 40-inch diagonal 3-D floating display.

This rear projection unit includes a 1500 lumen-DLP-SVGA projector with HDTV quality. While less than ? in thickness, the unit provides an optical illusion where the screen image appears to be floating in air. A 2-D picture looks 3-D in brilliant backlighting. Even in direct sunlight, the image is clearly visible.
"There is no other technology that provides this vivid and rich viewing experience." said Allan M.

Olbur, VP. "The gamer industry is currently estimated at annual revenue in excess of $10 Billion turnover and is projected to grow to $35 Billion in the next couple of years. Just look at the consumer demand for Halo2 at its introduction last November. Microsoft and Sony are hoping to introduce their next generation of console game boxes. Our projection unit systems are ready to accommodate their next generation systems."Starter level packages include a projector and acrylic projection unit.

Packages are available in a number of sizes. The goddess Hora provides a 50-inch diagonal front projection unit and the goddess Perfica is equipped with a 60-inch diagonal rear projection unit. Larger sizes include the goddess Libertia at 60-inch diagonal front, the goddess Copia at 80-inch diagonal front, the goddess Nerio at 80-inch rear, the goddess Daphne at 80-inch diagonal rear and the goddess Pertunda at a full 100-inch diagonal rear projection. For the active lifestyle gamers, customized units up to 150-inch diagonal (single acrylic panel) or video walls can be crafted for pole mount, wall mount or free hanging installations.About Starr Group, Ltd.Starr Group is dedicated to bringing gamers a rich experience in public venues by providing large display HDTV quality systems. What Is Rear Projection Television?

What is rear projection television? The term comes from the fact that the rear projection TV sends the image onto the viewing screen from behind the screen. When you are in a movie theater, the image in projected onto the front of the screen. That is why the projector is behind the audience in a movie theater.

If you are really into television, that the bigger the screen the better, right? If you feel that way about your television viewing, then no doubt you are considering moving up to the big,big televisions that are now available in the market.

While most of the recent interest is on flat screens and LCD screens, improvements in rear projection TV makes this a wise purchase to consider. Advances in the quality of the picture
using rear projection TV make this a reasonable and less expensive alternative to the big flat screen televisions.

Rear Projection LCD TV Secrets

The least expensive type of large TV is a rear-projection LCD TV. Some projection TVs have three cathode-ray picture tubes (CRTs), which are like smaller versions of the tubes used in
conventional sets. The images from those small tubes are projected onto the back of a 40 inch to 60 inch plus screen, giving them the name rear projection TV. Other rear projection TV sets use LCD, digital light processing (DLP), or liquid
crystal on silicon (LCoS) technology in place of CRTs. These high tech rear projection TV sets are thinner, lighter, and as a result more expensive than comparable CRT-based sets - but they produce a higher-quality picture.

Major brands of rear projection LCD TV sets include Hitachi, Mitsubishi, Panasonic, Philips, RCA, Samsung, Sony, and Toshiba.

The most popular models are HD capable, and there are three basic types of HD TVs.

So how do you choose the right rear projection LCD TV for you and your viewing needs? First,...

COMMERCIALS THAT CONFUSE, CONFOUND AND SELL NOBODY ANYTHING

I may be missing something, here, but it seems to me that, inadvertising terms, the loonies have taken over the asylum. Whatis getting me all lathered up is the preponderance of TVcommercials that go out of their way, not only to confuse theirtarget audience, but also to project an alarming image of theirproduct. I'll elaborate. The first example is the sad, but fortunatelyshort story of a current tv spot for a company called Debenhams. Now, Debenhams is a large UK department store which has branchesin many major cities throughout the country. As such, it has anexcellent reputation and an enviable turnover.Well, this outfit is running a commercial which has two distinctscenes.

The first shows a man sitting in a room at a table, andbeside him is a back-projection of a pond. As he sweeps an objectoff the table and into the pond, we see ripples in the water. Thesecond scene is of a young girl in a room and the back projectionis of some trees, each carrying a profusion of autumn leaves....

Have You Seen LCD Projection TV?

Have you seen LCD projection TV? No, really. I don't just mean a picture online or in an advertisement on a normal tube television, but have you actually seen projection TV? It really is completely different that what even the hardest of hardcore couch potatoes have ever witnessed. It is impossible to properly describe the effect of LCD projection TV, but roughly it is to normal TV what the CD is to the cassette tape. Leagues of difference, I say. It is the bee's knees, the cream in your coffee, the sprinkles on your donut, the...aw, enough.

Let's cut to the chase.

Big yet sleek and impressive without ostentatiousness, Toshiba has a pair of outstanding 42" LCD projection TV sets to draw the consumer's eye. The featured Toshiba LCD TV, the 42" LCD
projection TV, is but one representative of the "Diagonal Cinema Series" bunch. Just under thirty-five hundred dollars (see Toshiba.com for ordering information), this 42" LCD TV comes
replete with Toshiba's...

New Car Registrations and Car Insurance

In September 2001 the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) introduced a new number plate registration system that was designed to last for 49 years. The new change was welcomed not only by the car dealers but also by the car insurance industry as the DVLA also decided to issue new car registrations twice a year instead of once a year.In the past, new registrations were issued on 1st August every year. Inevitably this caused a major headache for insurance companies as so many people required...
